24ct gold vermeil asymmetric diamond pendant on fine grey, blue, black and pink glass beads

A 24ct gold vermeil (gold-plated silver) geometric pendant shape hanging on a string of fine Japanese pressed glass beads, in a pretty colour scheme of pale grey with flashes of neon pink, black and light blue.

The pendant shape was cast in sterling silver from my original design, which I made by hand cutting and soldering fine wire rods together. I then polished the pendant piece by hand, and had it 24ct gold-plated by my platers in Clerkenwell, London. I strung each of the tiny Japanese ‘toho’ pressed glass beads onto a strong nylon beading thread by hand. The beads are connected to the pendant with gold-plated end caps, and the bead string is long enough to just slip it on and off over your head – no fiddly clasps required!
